LinMot linear & rotary motors are highly flexible, dynamic, and reliable solutions. By combining two electromagnetic servo motors within a single slim housing, they enable independent linear and rotary motion in the simplest way.
The Z-axis and rotary axis are controlled by separate drives and operate based on the servo principle with a fully independent structure. The two axes can be synchronized or controlled independently, depending on the application requirements.
Since both rotary and linear motion are achieved through a single shaft moving within a compact body, LinMot linear rotary motors provide significant mechanical advantages in applications requiring simultaneous linear and rotary movement. They offer low maintenance requirements and a flexible, mechanics-free application structure.
They can be used in a wide range of applications such as locking, screwing, assembly, and especially capping and filling processes. With the optional hollow shaft, pneumatic grippers can be directly integrated at the shaft end. They can also be equipped with various options such as additional torque and force control.
