By mounting a MagSpring parallel to the linear motor, the weight force can be passively balanced. This also prevents the axis from moving downward when no power is applied.
Its working principle is based on the attractive force of permanent magnets. Therefore, it does not require any external energy source such as electricity or compressed air, providing a significant advantage in terms of sustainability.
Unlike conventional springs, MagSprings deliver a constant force over the entire stroke length. This eliminates challenges caused by force variations, enables passive balancing of vertical loads, and allows operation with minimal energy consumption even in vertical movements.
